THE ORANGE COUNTY Board of Elections is contem * plating a complete re-registration prior to next year’s party pri mary elections of all voters in the 10 precincts of Orange Coun ty outside of the Chapel Hill and Hillsboro Townships — in which full re-registrations were held several years ago. The books of the 15 precincts in these two townships contain an estimated 10.000 of the approximately 16, 000 names currently on the vot ing books. Last county-wide re registration was about 10 years ago. In a referen dum on the question last year the issue was defeated. PICKETING OF THE COL lege Cafe in downtown Chapel Hill has gone without any inci dents since the UNCStudent Peace Union - sponsored drive began last Friday, according to local police. A pair of silent sign-car rying marchers have walked in front of the restaurant from 7 a. m. till the 2:80 p. m. closing time steadily.
